For years, it was really hard for me to trust myself and the decisions I made. I usually just went along with what everyone else did because it was just easier that way. No one would say anything or question me. Then I met my husband and it all changed. When we are talking about what we want to do for the evening or over the weekend or what to cook for dinner, if he decided something, I would just agree. He immediately would pick up on this and say, "Well, what do you want?" I would respond, "What you said. That sounds fine." Then he would said, "No, really. What would you like to do/eat?" This would start to send me into anxiety mode and I would start getting all flustered. And for what? This was the question on his face, and in later years, the question reflected right back to me.
Of course, over the past 4-5 years, I've learned to really check in with myself when questions or ideas are presented to me. I also have learned not to say, "yes" to everything because, in the past, that led to overbooking my time, leaving me with no time for what I wanted to do. Even if it was nothing! But allowing myself time and space to think and feel about choices is just one of things that yoga offers us. It's that quiet time that we give ourselves in meditation that allows us to connect with that deeper part of ourselves. It's the essence and the spirit/soul. It's trust and love.
I am ALLOWING myself to TRUST my intuition MORE around what I want to do along my path. Because it is MINE. Right?
It's not my mom's, my dad's, that ex-boyfriend's, the governments; it IS all mine. It's about what I want for myself in my relationships, health, career and business. Not what I should have, or HAVE to do.
For instance, I had an interview at a health club for a Massage Therapist position. This health club is very exclusive in the San Francisco Bay Area, and being located in the Financial District, it caters to the corporate community. I was early for my interview, and as I sat drinking my peppermint tea, I people-watched. "Wow" I said to myself. In the past, I would have said, "What am I doing here?!" with a lot of contempt. I also would have had the nervous flutters of butterflies in my stomach, but instead I was relaxed, comfortable, and going-with-the-flow. The chatter said, "Something must be wrong!" But in my heart, everything was perfect. The interview went so well, they asked me back for a practicum to demo my skills. I walked out of there feeling so confident and joyful! Then I recalled that email the day before from another business contacting me to come in for an interview and demo, and I my joy factor went from a 10 to a 100,000!
I'm realizing how manifestation and intention works, AND I'm receiving it! When an opportunity comes along, I'm open. I'm VERY aware when the chatter may chime in, but I know it's not true and it's not who I am or want. I'm trusting what comes and I'm not afraid of failure.
I welcome all opportunity and possibility. I listen to my intuition and heart because that's who I am.
I am not my thoughts. YOU are not your thoughts.
Trust in yourself and you will receive what you asked or prayed to the universe or higher being. You deserve it. So believe it!
Welcome to my blog. We are always in a state of constant movement in our experience. There are bumps along the path and they need to be shared with others because we are not alone. We think and feel in similar ways. We are amazing, emotional, creative individuals who want and need. That's what this blog is for.

Creation
I have learned that when I want something I need to write or talk about it. Creation and manifestation is happening all the time. I just joined this support group that was created for individuals who want to improve their wealth/abundance esteem. We all have our stories and beliefs about wealth, so our first meeting was how we define wealth and what is it to us. Lots of stuff both similar and different came out such as consistency, freedom, comfort, sharing. It wasn't necessarily about material things, but of course that does come up for people because there are "things" they would like to have in their lives. I know for me it's a sense of freedom and having that freedom to share with others. I know from the list, it's a combination of all of them.
As I was sitting at my desk about 15 minutes ago, I was thinking about my yoga teaching and where I want to go with it. There are so many avenues, it can get overwhelming sometimes. I want to create a style of yoga teaching that supports people wherever they're at. I guess that's why I call myself "MovingYogi" because we're constantly in flow and motion. I love to teach about being in the present; feeling what I and you feel right at this moment if you're in a yoga pose or not. Then again we are in some form of a pose if we stop and notice. So when someone comes up to me and asks me, "what kind of yoga you teach?", I usually go into a little rant about my training background. I know that can lose people's interest. I've been teaching for almost 5 years now, nonstop, and along the way have picked up other tools for myself and others. So how do I present that? how do I word that? I want it to feel true, honest and exciting. I want others to feel it too. So let the brainstorming and networking begin.....

Money Meditation
(From YogaJournal.com Daily Insight)
When economic times are bad, remember that everything that arises in the world of form is impermanent. The impermanence of our economic well-being—which, for many of us, is synonymous with "survival"—can, of course, create a sense of freak-out. But such fears are rarely based on a present-moment experience of lack. The mind's tendency is to extrapolate today's minor disturbance into something much larger and more threatening tomorrow.
Experienced yoga practitioners are not necessarily immune; many a yogi and wise sage lose their cool when it comes to the possibility of financial loss. But if we know where to look, yoga gives us many tools that we can call on in times of distress.
While you're in the midst of worry, anxiety, or any negative emotional states, try this twist on a traditional lovingkindness (metta) meditation: "May I feel this fear for all the other who are worried and anxious right now, so that they don't have to." This takes you out of your self-concern and reminds you of your interconnectedness with all beings, which will create a profound sense of relief.

Allowing Change
So many changes have been happening. More like mini-deaths and mini-births. For the first time in my life I feel like I'm allowing change. I know in the past it was such a scary thing and I would just freak out. But as I let out my energy and vibrations toward something(s), the changes are happening and I'm totally letting it in!
I have to thank the Law of Attraction for this--THANK YOU!--because it's a phenomenon that I had only heard of until this past year in my Holistic Health program. Seeing others around me manifesting and creating things for themselves got me excited. I was like, WOW! This shit really works! Now that it's happening to me I can't help but feel goooooddd!
I got yoga teaching opportunity; my husband and I are creating things together for our future and I'm REALLY excited about starting massage therapy school! It's funny how you either think, imagine and even say the things that you most desire and sooner or later, BLAMO! They're right in your face. I'm so grateful.
THANKS UNIVERSE!
